About Kumul

Kumul is a free French app that helps people live their passions and reach their goals together, in real life. Users see the activities happening around them, join them, and create their own.

Last updated: September 15, 2026.

What is Kumul?

Kumul brings together, in one place, the activities offered by students, student associations and schools. Each activity has its own page: title, date, time, place, organizer and participants. Users answer "Participer" (I’m in) or "La prochaine fois" (next time), message the organizer, and keep in touch with the people they met through "confiances" (trusted connections).

Who is it for?

  • Anyone who wants to live their passions, reach their goals and spend less time alone on their phone.
  • Students in France, especially first and second year, who want to meet people and do activities, including international students.
  • Student associations, who want more people at their events, more members and more visibility.
  • Schools and their staff, who want their students less glued to their phones and more involved in campus life. Schools and companies can also have an account.

Kumul is starting in French schools and universities, before opening to everyone.

What problem does Kumul solve?

On a campus, what is going on is scattered across emails, group chats, social media and word of mouth. Students miss opportunities and stay isolated, and organizers lack participants. Kumul puts everything in one place, so that wanting to do something turns into an actual plan.
